I haven't, but I had some exposure to their philosophy on configuration a year 
or so ago.  Apparently an installation is defined entirely by the "Nix" 
functional configuration language.  This makes things like rolling back to a 
previous state and propagating a state across machines extremely easy. 
I have no idea how well this works in practice, I'm told it works well.
