Mesa 10.4.0 release candidate 1 is now available for testing. The current plan is to have an additional release candidate each Friday until the eventual 10.4.0 release on Friday, Dec 5th.
The tag in the git repository for Mesa 10.4.0-rc1 is 'mesa-10.4.0-rc1'. As a reminder, with the 10.4 branch now created, patches nominated with: CC: <mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org> will now be candidates only for the new 10.4 branch. To nominate patches for the older 10.3 branch as well, please use: CC: "10.3 10.4" <mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org> The expectation is that the 10.3 branch will remain alive with bi-weekly releases until after 10.4.1 release. Mesa 10.4.0 release candidate 1 is available for download from ftp://freedesktop.org/pub/mesa/10.4.0/ sha256sums: 0f598943dfe00de1e9eab6f84402a4794716351af74d872eee4f294daceaad51 MesaLib-10.4.0-rc1.tar.gz a84937b27c4169d59af0750969920ce4d2638652d3ff088b9626c8b469340e5a MesaLib-10.4.0-rc1.tar.bz2 2e162445713f82bf3242a128ca73c967a495a8db05d52bbfb253634bcc346989 MesaLib-10.4.0-rc1.zip I have verified building from the .tar.bz2 file by doing: tar xjf MesaLib-10.4.0-rc1.tar.bz2 cd Mesa-10.4.0-rc1 ./configure --enable-gallium-llvm make -j6 make -j6 install A worthy mention: I have decided to pick the gallium-nine work, for the 10.4 branch considering how well it's isolated from everything else. Not to mention that now it has a maintainer :) -Emil
