This seems to be working. And I should clarify that the first form: CC: mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org will always indicate the most-recently-branched stable tree. That is, a simple CC of mesa-stable today will indicate a patch for the 9.2 branch. And in order to nominate a patch for the older 9.1 branch, the CC: line must mention "9.1" specifically. I've just updated the get-pick-list script which I use to maintain the 9.1 branch to match the above. So, going forward, anyone wanting to nominate a patch for 9.1 should use a CC: line that explicitly mentions "9.1" or else I'm likely to miss the patch. For example, the following will work great: CC: "9.1" <mesa-sta...@lists.freedesktop.org> Of course, if you want to nominate any commit that doesn't already that CC line in its commit message, feel free to just manually send email to mesa-stable with your request. I plan to update the in-tree documentation for stable patches along these lines soon. -Carl
