We probably should at some point, but I'm not sure it's quite time yet,
as some rather basic functionality is still missing / broken. In
particular, we should probably wait until it can handle the (not so
basic) glamor 2D acceleration shaders before worrying about backporting
stuff.
Picking some things now might make things a bit easier in the future.
There will also be several 9.0.x releases, so there may not be a big
rush. It mostly depends on which things you want to be picked up in
specific distro releases.
I'll leave the actual radeonsi picking to you, though.
That said, radeonsi is running a fair number of non-trivial apps now and
should be ready for wider testing from the mesa and libdrm master
branches. Until 2D acceleration works, running fullscreen with page
flipping is required for good performance.
