True, but it isn't turned on for any GEN in 8.0. As a result, the patch
turns it on for GEN >= 4.
Note: I haven't picked over any to core Gallium or Gallium drivers.
I can't test those, so I don't feel comfortable doing that on the
eve of a "stable" release.
I can't test any of this either, I'm just trying to collect
patches that might be useful on the 8.0 branch. And there will
be more releases anyway.
