No, I'm not testing out-of-tree builds. I don't know how to test them.
../mesa-src$ cd ..
..$ mkdir mesa-build; cd mesa-build
../mesa-build$ ../mesa-src/configure $usual_configure_stuff
../mesa-build$ make -jNN install
That's what I use, and it works fine. For double-checks, it's probably
helpful to clean the mesa-src directory of build residuals.
