How did you determine that? According to https://packages.debian.org/search?suite=wheezy&mode=exactfilename&searchon=contents&keywords=expat.pc it's been there since wheezy (which is oldoldstable at this point) at least. > Michel, considering you have more Debian experience than me, can you > please forward the issue to the respective people.
