FWIW I could reproduce this with a slightly older mesa git version with
llvmpipe, whereas it seems to work now. Maybe the patch mentioned in
https://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=100303 fixed this, or it was some
other change.
So I think this is probably not radeon specific, but just fixed already,
closing.
