Bug #: 43143 Summary: Mesa 7.11.1 fails to build at main/dlist.c:4532 with error message: "format not a string literal and no format arguments" Classification: Unclassified Product: Mesa Version: 7.11 Platform: Other OS/Version: Linux (All) Status: NEW Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Mesa core AssignedTo: mesa-dev@lists.freedesktop.org ReportedBy: mc2...@mclink.it Created attachment 53742 --> https://bugs.freedesktop.org/attachment.cgi?id=53742 Log of a failed build I'm running Mandriva 2010.2 x86_64 and I'm trying to build a package of Mesa 7.11.1 for my distro (gcc 4.4.3). The build process always pass the -Werror=format-security to the compiler as per this Wiki page: http://wiki.mandriva.com/en/Problems_and_issues_with_packaging; but, starting with the recent release 7.11.1 this causes the build to fail at mail/dlist.c with the error "format not a string literal and no format arguments". With the older Mesa 7.11 tarball or by forcing the build system to not pass the -Werror=format-security switch to gcc, the build succeeds. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.freedesktop.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email ------- You are receiving this mail because: ------- You are the assignee for the bug. _______________________________________________ mesa-dev mailing list mesa-dev@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/mesa-dev
