Until then this is not an option - it will deteriorate the user experience very significantly. Marek, please send the series to the list and _if_ you want guard the lot behind a configure switch. Alternatively a big warning message [when the variable is toggled] might be nice idea ? A configure switch isn't necessary. It's guarded by the drirc toggle mesa_glthread, which is also an environment variable. The warning is printed by the XML config code just like for any other driconf/drirc toggle. Marek Thanks Emil
