From one of the posts (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659842#c65) in the Mozilla bug, it looked like it should use the i915 driver instead of swrast anyway. An earlier post (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=659842#c56) even suggests r600. It's a little confusing.
