Is it possible to backport the most important egl fixes to the 7.10
branch? Especially we at Arch are running now into the bug mentioned

If you follow the git commits, you'll see that many bug fixes done on
master are getting cherry-picked to the 7.9 and 7.10 branches.
If there are particular bug fixes you want back-ported, but don't yet
see git check-ins for 7.10 or 7.9, you should update the bug report
with your request.
