The last git mesa which runs the engine demo without error is version
mesa-bda941e1b895547d680b68eaf28ae2db11e6149f, (Nick Bowler).
After this version, the engine demo no longer runs, showing the following
error:

MESA_FORMAT_S8_Z24' failed.

I tested the engine demo using mesa OpenGL renderer string: Mesa DRI R600
(RS780 9612) 20090101 TCL DRI2, OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.9-devel.
