Hi, Attached patch - or alternatively, this github commit: http://github.com/aras-p/glsl-optimizer/commit/06212e35b4aa06d3cd5af27e2faa5999598f987a - fixes unset GLSL2 ir_type after cloning ir_discard node. This fixes IR validation after inlining a discard.
