At the moment WebOS core is closed-source and without the sources it's
hard to tell how well it would even fit with other standard system
software (D-bus and friends) and UI (Xorg and friends).  I estimate
most likely the core would need to be reimplemented.  That said
personally I would be happy to see WebOS apps running on Meego,
specially if they overall ux remained as snappy as it is on WebOS
devices.  It may be entirely possible to implement the WebOS core APIs
as a community project, they're not extremely rich.
