No, we would like to use it. But it is not complete yet (USB transport driver still missing). My understanding is that Bernd Wachter is working on changing that; I definitely look forward to trying that out. There are also no plans to remove Buteo Sync Framework, at least not immediately. What I can imagine for MeeGo 1.2 is that we (Intel) go back to my original proposal from the Maemo/Moblin merger discussions: use the stable, proven SyncEvolution/Synthesis combination for SyncML inside the Buteo Sync Framework. What Arjan announced is the architecture decision. I'm currently working on a plan to execute on it. Right now I am (literally) talking to a lot of people to identify dependencies and options. I'll post a write-up as soon as possible (likely next week, once I am back from my US trip). -- Best Regards, Patrick Ohly The content of this message is my personal opinion only and although I am an employee of Intel, the statements I make here in no way represent Intel's position on the issue, nor am I authorized to speak on behalf of Intel on this matter. _______________________________________________ MeeGo-dev mailing list MeeGo-dev@meego.com http://lists.meego.com/listinfo/meego-dev http://wiki.meego.com/Mailing_list_guidelines
