They do seem like the optimum size. I don't like the high price, but think if the device is reliable and doesn't require much maintenance the price would be well worth it. I'd love to do some testing on a real floor, see how durable the hard drive is, the batteries, the scanner, etc. It would also be interesting to see how long their life is when used full time. Laptops and desktops now, in our facility, are being purchased with a 5 year warranty, so this device would have to have that kind of life to even begin to be considered.
