I believe that it is the previously filed "Grand Total Time" that she has
defaulting in subseqent times documented each day. Since this would not be nil
the first time each day, this should work as she needs it too. If, however, it
is an issue, she can simple default "0" instead of nil in the "Else" logic of
the IF statement!

Christina,
Of course that doesn't address that what you are accessing with that
code is the last filed "value" of the query. So, if the query was filed
as nil the last time, you would not be pulling nil into your screen, but
what ever value was filed last. So, say at 7am the query was filed with
a value of 10, and then at noon and 4pm it was filed with a value of
nil. Every time until the date changed that first "value" would be
pulled in, completely skipping the fact that more recently it was filed
as nil.

Could make a huge difference!

Hi Cristina,

You could write an IF statement for your DFT. Make the condition
evaluate whether today is the same day the last response was filed. If
so, then place the current logic in the "THEN" logic. It should look
something like this:

"YOURQUERY"
*AA.CCDQR[/["aa"],"QUERYA-GRANDTOTAL"]|0}

So, if the date is the same, the last filed value is defaulted. If not
the same, nothing will default as the value of the DFT will be nil.

Let me know how it goes,
Kenny Whiteside

Hello to All,
Here is the scenario:
The therapist did the treatment today and incurred a current total
treatment time of 45 min. on the initial session (as seen on the screen
below).

Initial Documentation:
Time In: 0800 Time Out: 0830 Elapsed Time: 30
Time In: 0845 Time Out: 0900 Elapsed Time: 15
Time In: Time Out: Elapsed Time:
Current Total Treatment Tm (min): 45 + Prev Total
Treatment Tm (min):

= GRAND TOTAL TREATMENT TM(min): 45

Another treatment was given today in which it produced the current total
time of 30 min. on the subsequent session and as seen on the screen
below.

Subsequent Documentation: (same day)
Time In: 1000 Time Out: 1030 Elapsed Time: 30
Time In: Time Out: Elapsed Time:
Time In: Time Out: Elapsed Time:
Current Total Treatment Tm (min): 30 + Prev Total
Treatment Tm (min): 45
                                                      = GRAND TOTAL
TREATMENT TM(min): 75

On the following day, when a therapist documents the 1st time for that
day, our PT Manager wants to start anew without any defaults from
previous documentation.
In other words, the default attribute does not carry over to the next
day. How can it be accomplished if feasible? The default attribute that
I use is: DFT=*AA.CCDQR[/["aa"],"QUERYA-GRANDTOTAL"]|0

And it resides on the "Prev Total Treatment Time" query.

I appreciate any input you may have. Thanks!
