We are in an advanced stage of selecting a vendor for our ER
documentation (including CPOE/BMV/NUR).

If you use an "EDM" type software, would you, or someone from your
facility, please take the time to respond to this survey?

1) What vendor (if Meditech, which version)?
2) How long has software been used in ED?
3) Do ED Physicians:
        a) Enter their own orders (including meds)?
        b) Look up their results?
        c) Document the patient visit (without dictation)?
4) Do Inpatient Care Areas:
        a) Use NUR/PCS to document?
        b) Use CPOE to enter orders (including meds)?
        c) Use BMV to document meds?
5) Is your ER documentation integrated with your inpatient area
documentation?
6) Is Medication Reconciliation integrated between ER and Inpatient
areas?
7) How many FTEs are required to get the ED software running/keep it
going?
8) Would you be willing for me to call you?

        Your phone number?

9) If others please ask me to "Please Post to the L", may I?

Thank you very much.
