Could you re send this please? Thanks!!!

Good Morning Fellow Meditech L-List users,

My questions are:

1. Do you have any Physicians working in the Emergency Department that
are primary

care Physicians within the rest of the hospital?

2. If so how are you handling the follow-up care of labs, X-Rays, and
out-patient procedures?

Our concern comes when a primary care physician works in the ED after he
leaves there his liability under the ED scope stops, the problem is when
he is not the primary care physician for that patient, but he worked in
ED and placed the order for the tests and he receives the results for
the test completed at his office, his liability insurance does not cover
anything he did in the ED. But once he sees a result if there are
problems he is responsible to do something about it. The problem stems
from the patient having no Primary Care Physician, and being assigned a
Physician upon discharge the unattached physician for that day.

Can you help?

Thanks,
