Hi All, At our facility, our phlebotomists use a topical spray to numb the draw site for our kiddos. We need to have them document what they used, where, ect in the patient chart. We were having the lab tech's note it in an internal specimen comment, but those comments do not display in the EMR. If we use a regular comment, then it shows up on all the tests associated with that specimen. Preferably it should be easilly entered by the phlebotomists themselves. It must display in the EMR.
