Hello All,
We are in the process of planning for our POM Medication Ordering in the ED,
and have found that the ED eMAR is lacking some needed features that exist for
the inpatient MAR.
MT is telling us 'no on' has ever requested the following....
* The Alert for giving the dose too soon for a SCHEDULED item be included
on the ED eMAR
* We plan to use an assessment available on the MAR to document titration
and rates changes as a Non-Admin, to prevent having to double document
elsewhere, and also because we are set up to charge on Admin. The Non-Admin
currently shows as 'none given' rather than the dose adjusted to, we do not
want it to show none given, we would like the adjusted dose to show. For us,
Non-Admin = more like 'new bag not hung' in this case...

Please let me know of any thoughts or experiences you have concerning the ED
eMAR, and especially concerning any custom programming.

We would very much like to talk to any sites currently using the MAR via EDM.

 Thanks,

 Angel Hampton RN
