We're 5.5 SR2 with $T RAD and we recently went LIVE with EDM but we don't have
this problem. RAD will sometimes edit the order or sometimes they cancel the
original order and enter a new order but in either case, OE accurately reflects
what was done in RAD and consequently, the EDM indicators are correct.

You need to set up the OE Procedure dictionary so that it has a corresponding
procedure for all exams that RAD could possibly order and this will allow any
exams entered/edited in RAD to flow to OE and then to EDM. If the exam is not
something you want OE users to be able to order, just set the ORDER BY prompt
on page one of the OE Procedure dictionary to DEPARTMENT.

We are a Magic 5.5 SR3 site with $T Radiology and have found that when an order
is placed from the Emergency Department through Order Entry to Radiology the
Radiology department may change the order in Radiology. When doing this the
Order Entry order placed automatically cancels causing the order to fall off
the EDM tracker result indicator. We are wondering how other sites may have
handled this issue for their site ED tracker board. What process changes did
they make or what reports are they providing in order to meet the needs of the
Emergency Department in that Radiology results are being available through the
tracker or some other means?

Any assistance with this issue and how others are handling this problem is
greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance.
