RN Clinical Application Analyst Job ID: 1048 Location: Stillwater, OK US Travel Involved: None Job Type: Full Time Shift Information: Job Level: Experienced Education: Associates degree required BSN preferred Category: Information Systems Department: Information Systems Compensation: $22.45 - 33.67 Job Description Responsible for guiding design, development, testing, updating, monitoring, supporting, implementing, and maintaining of clinical applications with Nursing and other ancillary personnel; Help customers assess and coordinate the use and support of vendor and IT Departments' resources to resolve system problems and achieve their goals; Works with all hospital departments on specific departmental applications and support issues; Tracks issues and resolutions throughout the process; Must be available to take call for application issues; Required to carry a paging device to ensure availability when requested and/or required. Job Requirements QUALIFICATIONS * Registered Nurse licensed in Oklahoma with at least five years of continuous clinical experience. * Previous experience with Meditech Client Server is preferred. * BS degree in healthcare or IT related field preferred. * Certification in IT or Healthcare informatics related field a plus (or in progress). * Basic computer hardware/software and troubleshooting experience. * Broad knowledge of applications and integration in the medical field. * Project management/coordination experience desired. * Maintains current CPR certification. * Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects and meet deadlines; May work on several implementation at one time; * Well respected by clinical department management and operating personnel with reputation for working well with all types of people. * Interest in and enthusiasm for computerization and it's potential for improving departmental and interdepartmental efficiency as well as improve patient outcomes. * Possess effective communication skills, assertiveness, leadership skills, effective interaction with peers and upper management, good organizational skills, ability to effectively analyze and problem solve, and ability to listen well to others. * Ability to positively motivate team members and end users to desired actions in meeting project goals and time frames. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS * Must have good vision or correctable with glasses. * Must be able to converse with others in person and over the telephone. * Able to go to any department in the building and to off site locations. * Manual dexterity is required.
