Hi Meditech Users, I am interested in learning if the standard had been implemented in your Emergency Departments. We have started to meet with the Emergency Department Management and Physician Staff to discuss how to meet the standard with limited Pharmacists (and budgets!). Our ED Physicians and Physician Asssistants enter all orders in EDM/POM; medications are entered verified and reviewed retrospectively. The ED Physicians do not know how this can work without a long list of exceptions. I appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
