Just a followup. We are MAGIC 5.61 PP 4 and we are not having these issues. I tried several scenarios and all seemed to work correctly.

If you enter a IV with an additive like kcl 40 meq vial and a carrier of NS 1000ml the charge generated is correct, but if you use more than 1 unit of the additive for example 80 meq in ns 1000ml it will not recalculate the charge for the cost or handling fee of the additional additive. This holds true also if you start you IV with KCL 80meq and ns 1000 ml, it will only calculate the charge for 1 vial and 1 handling fee. They thought they had a DTS 7124 to fix but it is not working in their inhouse system either. We noticed when the charge for some chemo came up 3810.56 but the cost was 4350.10. We updated April 11 and now it May 23 so we are talking thousands of dollars in lost charges.
