At my previous hospital, I implemented Valco Paperless Registration. I can't remember the exact scanners that we used, but I'm thinking... Travel Pro? Visioneer? Anyway, it was the medium of the three that Valco recommends. The Fujitsu was just too expensive for them to roll out to 10+ registration points and too large to fit on the rolling carts in the ED. The Valco integration with PCI and BAR works well and the implementation of that product was very good.
