We are in the midst of implementing POM with a Pilot Group of four physicians (our Hospitalists). We use a Nurse Status Board with flags for entered orders to notify nurses. Although we are currently printing the orders entered through POM, we plan to stop this step when all (or, perhaps, nearly all) physicians are up with POM. Nurses still write orders after hours.
