Hi Greg,

One way to accomplish this is to blank out the secondary response whenever the
cursor goes into the primary query. I use this same logic on screens such as a
fall prone assessment, where a score can change if the user backtracks and
changes a previously entered response.

The following attribute should be placed on the primary query, and will blank
out the response in the secondary query. Once blanked out the response may
still appear on the screen in the second query, but it is in fact gone, and
will file as being blank.

1ST.QUERY
*------------
IFE="2ND.QUERY"^QRY,VALUE("D(127)^"_"[ANS,QRY]"),1
REQI=1

2ND.QUERY
*------------
IFE=[ANS,"1ST.QUERY"]|0="Y"
REQI=[ANS,"1ST.QUERY"]|0="Y"

Hope this helps,
Jerry Beals

I need a skip and default attribute combination attribute to default normal
values to a query based on a WNL response of yes. If I decide to previous
field and change the WNL response to No and go back and answer the queries I
need the cursor allow me to answer the body system queries and clear the WNL
default responses. Any suggestions and TIA for the assistance. We are Magic
version 5.4.

Thank you, Greg Rouleau
