Mark,
How about using notifications? They won't print the actual patient report, but
you can attach a comment to print indicating which condition the notification
is printing for. There will be enough patient information for someone to look
up the actual report for follow-up. The notification would also be a real-time
printout when the results were verified. It can be called from a notification
attached to the result in the test dictionary, page 3. Setup is pretty
straightforward, but does involve ADM & MIS modules also.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Report Labs if Out of normal

Hi. How can I get results to print to a printer if they are out of whack? THe
lab manager wants a report to print.
"In the event that:
1)RBC's are found repeatedly (=or> 2x) on exam of urine (routine UA), and/or;
2)PSA diagnostic or screens = or > x mg/dl is reported."
Any help would be helpful.
Thanks, Mark Champion Ex-Paramedic (Not MLT)
