Just a general question: - Magic Hospitals
For those with Iatrics VFS (Visual Flow Sheet) and doing electronic MARs, do
your nurses document meds via the Iatrics eMAR or Meditech's eMAR

We are not planning BMV at this time... however, I suspect that may occur
eventually.

>From the Meditech's status board, users can jump into the MAR very quickly.
Disadvantage: Not very pretty. It is sometimes hard to get a quick visual
picture of what is going on (I realize 5.6 is better, but still not as
pretty as Iatrics (in my opinion)).

The Iatrics VFS MAR displays very nice, but not as quick to get to from the
status board. If a nurse is documenting multiple meds, it probably makes
sense. However, if just trying to document one med, it's considerable more
clicks. Another advantage if the Iatrics is the ability to have custom
reports linked to the order. Users can easily see customizable data. But I
am torn to have users use it due to clicks to get there for just one or two
meds.

Any thoughts/perspectives would be appreciated. I see pros and cons with
each option and would be very grateful for real life experience.

Thanks in advance, respectfully submitted.
