We are Meditech CS 5.6 beta and we are trying to identify a method for reporting daily on HL7 messages that have a status of FAIL-READ. We would like to generate a report that would contain the actual HL7 message that FAIL-READ. We could then route this report to that department and they could fix the charge in the other vendor application. We would like to know if any other hospital has accomplished this and if so, how? Our main concern is for charge interfaces. When we Go-Live we will have 4 other vendors sending charges daily to Interface Manager (MIS). We have a dedicated delivery service for each vendor. Any direction would be greatly appreciated.
