Hi Alan,
The problem we ran into is that not all our medication charges are pulling
from PHA. My understanding from Meditech on this is that if another
module, such as ORM, adds medication charges, these do not pull from PHA
and the end result is that NDC codes do not drop on the bill. When we
review the charges in BAR, we can see that charges flowing from PHA
contain the NDC but charges from other modules (such as ORM) do not have
the NDC on it. This is my dilemma at the moment. Any help would be
appreciated. Thanks Alan.

Re: [MEDITECH-L] NDC Codes

Hi, Frank,
B/AR doesn't care what NDC's are. It just looks at mnemonics and
charges. PHA is the keeper of the NDC's. If you're pulling transaction
info from B/AR and need NDC's you'll have to frag over to PHA to get
them. Just guessing, but are you planning to do some sort of 340B
tracking?

Hello L,
Has anyone had problems with pharmacy charges from modules other than
PHA
not passing NDC codes to BAR? Have you corrected this? If so, was it
a
custom from Meditech? ...or was there another way to correct this? I

have a service issue currently open with Meditech about this but have
really not gotten anywhere. TIA.
