Currently in our facility individual departments are responsible for all
aspects of training for their new employees. Information Systems is now
evaluating providing a "general" training session once or twice a month to
cover things that all employees use (i.e. MOX, entering work orders,
scheduling meetings, using the intranet, signing onto windows, etc.).

What are other facilities doing for new employee training? Who is
responsible for doing it? Do you have a general training session? Do you
have a basic manual that all employees get upon hire that shows how to do
some of these things? If so, would you be willing to share any of these
materials as a starting template for us?
