Not sure anymore with 5.4.2 but with 5.5.3 its in the drug dictionary on page two NDC#/DIN# second column third query down, There is also a Alt. NDC#/DIN# on Page 4 of the same dictionary lower right hand corner.
This is in case your supplier changes you can keep the original NDC#, and add the NDC# of the alternative supplier, so the system can use alternate NDC/DIN numbers (as well as a standard NDC/DIN number) to identify a drug when users scan the medication bar code.
