CMS announced this week that they are delaying their mandated 4/1 deadline for implementing the new 1500. It seems the GPO (Government Printing Office) released "Some" bad specs and negatives to private vendors. If the tip of the arrow above the word carrier in the top right corner is not about one quarter inch from the top of the page, you may have an incorrect version. Don't know if UB04 was affected. BUTT.......... Did Meditech program for the wrong spec? (I've asked but don't know yet.) Did your overlay vendoruse the wrong spec? Did your payers program their scanners for the wrong spec? Note there are different new Meditech "program" to print the UB04 and the new 1500. Do you have it entered where necessary? (It's been a long time since anyone had to touch this field.
