We are using Citrix on mix platform 5.5 sr2. It is being deployed.
Citrix allows faster consistent remote access for MT applications, as
well as for PACS. Our PACS images are viewable thru MEDITECH PCI as well
as thru GE PACS icon and are viewable using remote access. POWERSCRIBE
speech recognition is being used extensively to report on Diagnostic
imaging and these reports are again viewable in PCI, separately and
along with Radiological images and thru GE PACS icon which takes you
right to the web server. Our provider staff is extremely happy. Citrix
allows single sign-on on a thin client while you are in the hospital
network. For remote it understandably requires separate sign-on.

Hi,
I would like to hear from any sites using Meditech Magic and Citrix. We
are looking at Citrix for a remote access solution, and would like to
hear how other sites are managing Citrix with their Meditech HIS. It
would also be relevant if you are accessing PACS and/or transcription
products (Dictaphone etc.) as well. Are you using Citrix for remote
access, thin client, single sign-on, etc.?
