Hi Cynthia,

I'm an RN hired into the MIS department almost 4 years ago. I have been
responsible for getting the Nursing documentation on-line which has been
an on-going project for the past year and a half. I was also the analyst
for the OR module implementation which I continue to support as well as
OE, PCI and MOX. Our Wound Treatment Center uses a software called
Intellicure which I also support. I'm also on call for all MIS issues 1
week out every 4-6 weeks so we cross-trained for all the modules and
hardware. During my week of call I am responsible for coving the MIS
Help Desk for the lunch hour.

Let me know if you have any questions! Good luck, Carolyn

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Nursing Informatics in Meditech

Good Morning All!

Currently I manage the NUR module. Recently I have been asked to assume
other areas of Meditech. Just looking for information on what others
are doing. What modules/functions do most Nurses handle?

Cynthia Frederic, RN
