I am surprised by your users negative feelings about EDM, this is one of
the first emails I have seen with such strong negative feelings about
the EDM Module.
We have been LIVE with EDM for almost 3 yrs now, we are a MAGIC site,
5.5 SR2 currently.
When we went LIVE were were on 5.4.
Our staff LOVE EDM, of course there are always improvements Meditech can
make in their software, but we usually can figure out a work around
(just by being creative with attributes,reports,OA MSGS,etc...)

Comments about the system:
WE LOVE IT, it is flexible like most of Meditech's modules, I do wish we
could attach customer defined reports to EDM Treatments and Assessments
like we do in NUR Interventions and OE PROCS.
***I would setup a meeting with ER Directors (Medical and NSG) and a
couple of ER users, good strong users, including US,RN,etc. Get some
specific's on what they perceive as problems, what they don't like. A
lot of the time it is a simple fix, but they do not know what the
capabilities of the system are. Of course, your facility has to have
someone who can make these changes, edits, fixes.
