Madge, Iatric has a great macro that can be used for multiple line group response queries. When used, pressing the F9 key creates a box with the group responses but allows checking or multiple choices! If there are already resposnes in the query response and the cursor in on the first line, the box preloads a checkmark beside those response choices. The user can then remove the checkmark for the response they do not want. If on subsequent lines, the standard look-up function is called and only that line is affected. It works very nicely although it will mess-up the F5 recall function for ALL single-line queries on the CDS.
This macro and a PowerPoint presentation that includes some information about this can be found on the Iatric website as part of their 2005 Muse Presentation. Let me know if you need more information! We have an issue when the user goes back to change one response and then "enters" through the following responses, the following responses are cleared and the user has to re-answer these queries. Has anyone else experinced this and did you find a way to keep the other responses from clearing? <<Picture (Device Independent Bitmap)>> Thanks Madge Mueller RN, MSN Trihealth Information Systems Sr Applications Programmer/Analyst (513) 569-6814 [EMAIL PROTECTED] PRIVACY/CONFIDENTIALITY NOTICE REGARDING PROTECTED HEALTH INFORMATION This email (and accompanying documents) contains protected health information that is privileged, confidential and/or otherwise exempt from and protected from disclosure under applicable laws, including the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act.
