Hello Everyone We have a question related to patient results and how those results are handled across different campus facilities. First we have an outpatient 24/7 Emergency facility that is off site, patient are registered using an account number with a different prefix(Y). Our problem occurs when the patient seen in this outpatient facility has to be admitted to our inpatient facility. Accounts for the inpatient facility begin with a different prefix as well(L). Even the MRI number has a different prefix, but at least the remaining of the MRI numbers remain the same. What we would like to know is are there other facilities out there who have a similar situation and if so, how do you handle any pending test results accross the facilities?
