Hi, All, We allow remote access to our Meditech system by physician
office staff members. We would like not to restrict these staff members to
only patients associated with their provider/provider group employers, but we
can not allow them to access any patient without some safeguards. It was
suggested that we ask Meditech to customize the self-assign functionality in
PCI to allow it work for office staff as well as providers. Has anyone requested a customization from Meditech to be
able to do this? If so, how does it work? Does anyone have any other ideas
about ways that this could be handled? How do other facilities set up
physician office staff members? If you restrict them, how do you provide them
with access to a patient who has never been associated with the provider in
