Happy Friday to all! We are Magic 5.4 SR1. We began documenting in the Nursing module November 2003. We do not have Optical Archiving and have our Nursing Parameter for purge set to 60 months. We do Not spool/print documentation at discharge since Spring of this year due to the Reams of paper and chart storage issues! That said, my question is this: Is it reasonable to make all interventions with CDS screens attached an Assessment type intervention so that the data is stored for PCI and always readily available for viewing? Are there any better options we should consider? All help is greatly appreciated!
