Hi Tara, We had Datasouth printers. We installed the firmware and were unable to get a barcode to print. I can't remember if no barcode printed or a very poor quality barcode printed. Based on our experience with the barcode readers we felt that we needed clean crisp barcodes and a dot matrix printer was not going to do a good job even if we could get it to print. We replaced all of our printers with Datamax I-series themal printers. Of course we had to struggle with purchasing new labels. In the end I think it was well worth it.
