Has anyone out there used this enhancement yet? During our testing, Meditech wouldn't move this change to TEST, we had to wait until we were back with service. I have created my sample types and yay! it gives separate barcodes for each specimen type in the same department. Now for the problem. I am having issues right now with my custom labels. They are not printing the barcode number (lsp barcode num) for those specimens that have multiple barcodes numbers. The documentation is a bit confusing as it states: For different sample types' bar codes to print, the bar code component labels of the custom label must indicate a Tube Number of 1, 2, etc. The Repeat component should thus be BEFORE all of the tube number labels.
