Peggy,
We had issues with the hierarchy MT defined for what information will
pull into claims in 5.5 MAGIC too. We have used field overrides on all
our electronic claims to force them to look to the INS POL number,
rather than the SUB POL number. Here is our set up. Magic claims still
use the paper field names but I put the loop reference in square
brackets for your review.

Field Type ride Value
60A [2330A/REF02-A] CHECK Y INS1#
60B [2330A/REF02-B] CHECK Y INS2#
60C [2330A/REF02-C] CHECK Y INS3#

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] FW: subscriber dictionary 5.5
We are a client server site due to go live on 5.5.2 on 06/15/06 and are
having problems with our subscriber dictionary. It seems the new SUB POL
number field is overwriting the policy number field in undesired ways.
Is there any site that would be willing to speak with us about this
issue and what you have done to compensate? Time is running out for us,
please call me @413-447-2923 or e-mail me.
Thank you,
Peggy
