We have implemented both the EDM and RXM ordering in our Emergency department. (C/S 5.4, SR2) We were never told that we needed to enter data in that field. We implemented in Sept 2004. Since that time I have heard from another site that they were told the same information that you referred to. If this is the case then it would be a huge build since as you mention the field is not populated by First Data Bank formulary. Has anyone from LSS told you this needs to be done?
