I believe the biggest variable in AOM is the "formulary" - what size (ED "list", PHA formulary, FSV load), who builds it, who will maintain it...these are big issue. POM is another story - rebuilding a "tiered look-up", order sets, order rules, etc. Will this be for Physicians or Providers? The build will depend on it... I have spent anywhere from 6-10 months to build POM/PCM fulltime, with/without internal site resources. A solid Physician Champion and POM Core Team are HUGE keys as well. Kevin. Was it 1.Part time? 2.Full time? 3.How many months? 4.Type of staff worked on the implementation? 5.How many staff members? Or any other helpful hints.
