Joan, We have a EDI custom that maps a secondary ship to account, for our home health business, using the same vendor number - thus, no need to create multiple vendor mnemonics. The jest of it is: * Using the EDI Map Dictionary - N104ST segment for the alternate ship to account. Example, for vendor 14208, map N104ST with "if this value is" *14208, "use this value" 12345678. * The N104ST segment is not defined in the EDI Program Dictionary. Instead, Meditech programs the EDI loop to include - as part of the EDI program defined in your parameters. * Here's the trick: On the PO, when you are ordering for the alternate ship to location, use page two's "Offsite/Alternate Delivery Add", Line 1 - key the prefix of # and a F9 (lookup) will bring up the EDI map for the alternate ship to account to pick. The lookup list places itself on the screen so that you can see the vendor number - example: 14208 and the alternate ship to lookup value of *14208 as a visual reference. Thus, Line 1, will store the value of #*14208 - the EDI program will map the value of 12345678 during the "process EDI session.
