It looked simple but the problem is for ED admits, we admit those patients to ED holding beds and later transfer those patients to actual location whenever the bed is available. I can write reports separately for direct admits and ED transfers but unable to combine the information in one report. My logic for ED admits is the report out of adm.pat.events.description as a detail segment and adm.transfer.index as index file and set up a selection of event.old.location as ED holding location and event.location as any location we want the number for. This report is working perfect for ED admits but I want to include direct admits as well. Does any body have same process of ED holding beds? If yes than how you capture the actual admissions to the floor including ED transfers? Thanks in advance.
